Obligatory Vancouver Posting

Posted on 09:09 by hony
Of course, USOC officials could not possibly have had the foresight to realize that the winter 2009-2010 season would be a strong el Nino season, and the Pacific Northwest would experience warmer than usual temperatures and lower than average snowfall.

I think there is actually more snow on the ground in Dallas, Texas than in Vancouver right now. Which actually makes perfect sense if you understand el Nino and la Nina weather patterns.
